Coach Grant McCasland has over 18 years of coaching experience on the college level, serving in the capacity as assistant head coach on the division 1 level and as head coach on the division 2 level. Coach McCasland was head coach of Midland College (Midland, Texas) from 2004-2009. He later served as head coach of Midwestern State (Wichita Falls, Texas). Coach McCasland has strong recruiting ties in the state of Texas. Coach McCasland now has the most wins of any first year A-State head coach in team history. The Red Wolves’ also made school history by posting two seven-game winning streaks in the same season.
