Coach Ernie Kent is in his forth (4th ) season at Washington State and so far the team hasn’t placed better than 8th place in the PAC 12. Hopefully Coach Kent can stop the bleeding this coming season. But for now he goes on the warning list.
Coach Ernie Kent has an overall winning record of 373-330 (.531). Coach Kent’s greatest accomplishments came during his thirteen (13) year tenure as head coach of the Oregon Ducks. In his 13 years at Oregon, Coach Kent compiled a 235-174 (.575) record and a 109-125 (.466) conference mark. Added to his list oof accolades are six (6) NCAA Tournament appearances (1997, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007), which includes two (2) elite eight appearances in 2002 and 2007. He also has two (2) National invitational Tournament (NIT) appearances (1999 and 2004) under his belt.
